Active Support Skills Day

On Sunday 25th June, we will be running a Skills Day at the Hawk District Centre in Havant. This event will be a showcase essential Scout skills and is open to all Leaders and Section Assistants within the district to attend.

Whether adults want to try their hand at a new skill, or just to get a few new ideas for their programme, it is sure to be a great day for everyone, and a fantastic opportunity to network too.

Active Support Members

We are looking for members to sign up to run bases during the day. Ideally, we need a minimum of one person per base plus a couple of extra people for ad hoc duties on the day. Whether you can help all day or for just half, please do RSVP under ‘Active Support Member’ below stating your preferred area(s) to support.

• Knots and Lashings
• Pioneering
• Navigation
• Tent Pitching
• Knife, Saw and Axe Skills
• Fire Lighting
• Backwoods Cooking

Drinks will be available throughout the day and also a BBQ to keep energy levels up!
